The Breakfast Club

The Breakfast Club

Informal meet up for artists and cultural freelancers, held on 26th of every month

Due to recent events we can’t get together in person, so instead we’re taking The Breakfast Club online. You can stay in your PJs and join on Tuesday 26 May for an online edition of The Breakfast Club. We’ll be starting at the slightly later time of 9am and you can drop in at anytime until 11am.

Make yourself some Brekkie and start the day with some inspiring chats with fellow artists and cultural workers.  Meet some of the other people out there, often struggling with similar challenges.

The Breakfast Club is for cultural workers from across the North East and beyond. It’s not just for freelancers, but for anyone from the arts, cultural or heritage sector who wants a break from the ‘normal’ office routine.

We’re a welcoming and friendly group, so don’t be shy. There’s usually a few new people and a few regulars at each meet up. Share your passions, your frustrations and get inspired over a croissant and some coffee.

The Breakfast Club is on 26th of each month and normally takes place at a different local independent cafe or venue in Newcastle or Gateshead. However, due to Covid-19, we’re currently meeting up online, providing a digital space for artists to come together and catch up over some Brekkie.
