You’re never fully dressed without a smile

Meet Lewis. He’s a Redcoat. He’s living the dream and living it large in Bognor Regis. He likes to smile and show you a good time. But what happens when you’re having an ‘off day’? And you tell Barney the Dinosaur to piss off (in front of a load of kids)?

Feat. live music, dance routines, en masse balloon modelling and that extra special bit of Redcoat sparkle.

Fusing new writing and devised theatre, Redcoat is an honest and human show that’s loosely inspired by Lewis’s experience as a Redcoat.

A new show in development with Mixtaper and Six Twenty collaborator Lewis Jobson.

Exeunt review

“Fuelled by a likeable and energetic performance by Jobson – who it’s pretty much impossible not to be charmed by – this delightfully upbeat piece was an absolute joy. Tempered with enough shade and nuance to stop it being too saccharine, it’s nonetheless not afraid to just embrace the joyful silliness of having a job where ‘swanning’ is an actual requirement, and you spend a lot of your time hanging around with workmates dressed like dinosaurs.”
