While being a freelancer, working from home and in the arts can come with many advantages, it can get a bit lonely and stressful sometimes. So to help combat this, we’ve started The Breakfast Club. It’s a monthly get together for independent artists, arts workers and freelancers.

Grab some Breakfast and start the day with some inspiring chats before beginning your working day.  The Breakfast Club is a chance to get together and meet some of the other people out there, often struggling with similar challenges.

We’re a welcoming and friendly group, so don’t be shy. There are usually a few new people and a few regulars at each meet up. Natter, share your passions, your frustrations and get inspired over a croissant and some coffee.

The Breakfast Club is for cultural workers from across Newcastle, Gateshead and beyond. It’s not just for freelancers, but for anyone from the arts, cultural or heritage sector who wants a break from the ‘normal’ office routine. Make sure you don’t miss out on one of the most important meals of the day!

The Breakfast Club is normally on 26th of each month, at a different local cafe or venue in Newcastle or Gateshead with the location changing monthly. But, as it’s a Bank Holiday, we are moving the August edition to Friday 23rd August. So come see in the Bank Holiday weekend and take some well deserved time out for a spot of Brekkie and a brew.

If you’d like know a little bit more before attending drop us an email breakfastclub@thesixtwenty.com or give Steven a call on 07503 454985.
